Poorly written. was not proof read. Has practice exams but, no answers. Found several errors in figures of equivalence like 1 pint = 20oz this is incorrect 1 pint =16oz, 1 mile=640 acres how can this be possible, a mile is a linear measurement and an acre is an area measurement, 1 ton = 1,000 lbs this is also incorrect 1ton=2,000 lbs. who knows how many more errors exist within this book. I am surprise Amazon sells a book like this.
I purchased this book for my husband who was anxious about the exam but he passed with flying colors! The book is very well formatted and is clear, concise, and cohesive in its wording. He was able to get it read in its entirety ahead of schedule. The book references several online resources that came in handy when he needed further clarification which wasn’t often at all. The best part about the book however were the practice exams in the back of the book. Although he was busy preparing, I was able to engage with him and quiz him on his potential exam questions which became a bonding experience. Great purchase! 🙂
I wanted to get more info before I took the exam. A friend recommended this book to me and I'm glad he did. Its packed with all the knowledge you'll need when taking the exam. Since reading it I now feel informed and prepared. Its a must read if you want to pass the exam
So much useful information in this guide. Loved the organized layout discussing the material, then retouching important terms. The glossary made it extremely easy to locate key terms that I needed to review, and it even included algebraic equations to help too. The quick guide exams at the end really helped me feel more confident to pass my exam.
I find this book very easy to read for someone that is seeking to pass the exam. The book was also laid out in such a way that the reader is able to follow without any confusion

The text was very helpful on trying to ace your contractor’s exam. The book had all the material you need to ace the exam and was simple to understand unlike other exam books. I loved the fact that it provided online resources to get extra help and feel prepared.
